A few watercolors, some drawings and other work.   I began the Milagro Frog series in 2007 and just recently completed the narrative.  I've used the frog to tell my stories since the mid-eighties.  Whenever we traveled to Mexico to visit family, we would stop at the mercado.  I always wanted to buy a marachi frog figurine, but my father wouldn't let me.  Years later, I finally bought a tiny frog playing an accordion.  At home, I examined my purchase and then discovered it wasn't a toy, but an actual taxidermied toad.  It then struck me that these frogs had been sacrificed for our small pleasures.   This, in my mind, made them a type of penitente, accepting his pain for the good of all.  Okay, I admit that's strange, but that's just the way my mind works....
